Right now, as I am revising (for the first time since my A-levels) I am thinking about how I used to prepare for exams. Or, rather, how my school primed me to achieve highly. It’s time to dust off the cobwebs and get my working-memory (Baddeley & Hitch, 1974), declarative and semantic memory to work.
